		<description>I played the thing, and I agree with you. The one saving grace is that some people had a good time, but considering the epic promise of such an event, I feel more creative work should have been done in advance by the conductors of the piece. Instead, there was a very self-congratulatory air to the whole thing, and maybe that turns out to be fitting, considering the context. Me, I don't get it.</description>
